How to Fax- Employees

Please note: The Fax feature is only available on designated printers in high-use departments.

1. Visit any Employee Printer on any PennWest campus.

2. Swipe your PennWest ID Card or, if you do not have your card, select the AD Login option and enter your PennWest User Name and Password.

3. To log in with your PennWest User Name and Password you will tap the blanks and enter your information on the keyboard display.

4. Insert your document(s) into the sheet feeder

5. Select “Fax” from the Home screen

If sending internally on campus:

California and Clarion: Enter just the last 4 digit extension when faxing internally on campus. Press Start after entering the number.

Edinboro: Enter the full number, with no prefixes, when faxing internally on campus. Press Start after entering the number.

If sending externally off campus:

California: Enter 8+1+number when faxing off campus. Press Start after entering the number.

Clarion: Enter 9+number when faxing off campus. Press Start after entering the number.

 Edinboro: Enter 7+1+number when faxing off campus. Press Start after entering the number.

 Once the paper is scanned, press “Start Sending” to send the fax.

To see the progress of your Fax:

Press “Status Monitor” then “Send” then “Job Status”.

To confirm your Fax was sent successfully:

Press “Status Monitor” then “Send” then “Job Log”.

In addition, a Fax confirmation page will be printed detailing the result of the fax.

  1. Note: Your account will automatically log out after 2 minutes of inactivity.
